Health and Safety at Work

Under the Health and safety act 1974; It shall be the duty of every employer to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare at work of all his/her employees.

Health & Safety courses in the Workplace provides each candidate with the basic knowledge for keeping themselves and those around them safe in a work environment.

We cover the essential skills  for best practice in a work place to using protective equipment, dealing with accidents, reporting such as first aid and controlling risks.

The Controls of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations (2002) are designed to protect people against risks to their health when dealing with or being exposed to hazardous substances.

This course is ideal for induction or refresher training to the new regulations.

A risk assessment is simply a careful examination of what, in your work, could cause harm to people, so that you can weigh up whether you have taken enough precautions or should do more to prevent harm....
